It is my pleasure to serve Northern New Mexico College in the roles of STEM Instructional Designer in the Center for Online Learning and Adjunct Instructor for the Department of Language & Letters.

In my ID role I am able to help faculty by assisting with online course development, providing NNMC Canvas support, and creating professional development opportunities. Before joining Northern, I taught high school for over 12 years. During that time, I also served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida where I taught an online graduate-level course for current and future educators on integrating technology into learning environments. Before teaching, I worked as a Course Writer and Editor at an e-learning development company that created online courses and training for a variety of clients—many of which were in higher education. I have a Master of Arts degree in Instructional Technology/Media.

My doctorate is in Education (with a specialization in e-Learning) and my dissertation allowed me to explore teacher perceptions and concerns regarding the usage of a learning management system in a K-12 public school. I enjoy working with Northern's faculty members to help them enrich their online teaching. I also enjoy working with Northern's students to help them achieve their learning goals.
